Compliance is dull.
Being caught out isn't.
Validly exists to take the quiet dread out of staying ready - so small Australian businesses can prove they're good to work without living in a spreadsheet.
Why we built it
Every small business that depends on licences, insurance and staff credentials knows the same anxiety: something important expires without warning, and you find out at the worst moment - a customer asking for proof, a regulator at the door, a worker who can't legally start.
The tools that solve this properly were built for large enterprises with procurement teams and big budgets. For a small childcare centre, a trade business, or a cleaning company, they're overkill and overpriced. So most run on spreadsheets, calendar reminders, and hope.
Validly is the simple, affordable middle ground: a calm system that tells you what's valid, reminds you before things lapse, and lets you share clean proof in seconds - without the enterprise weight.
What we believe
Simple beats complete. We'd rather do the few things that matter brilliantly than bury you in features you'll never use. If it doesn't help you prove you're ready, it doesn't belong in Validly.
Hold less, protect more. The safest data is the data you don't store. For the most sensitive checks we track status, not stored copies - and we're upfront about exactly how everything is handled.
Start where the pain is sharpest. We're beginning with childcare and early learning - an industry where staying ready is a daily, regulated reality - and growing out from there to the trades and beyond.
Who's behind it
Validly is an independent Australian product, built by a small team that has watched this problem up close. We're starting deliberately small, with a first group of businesses helping shape what we build. Want to be one of them?
